Hi Everyone, today's post was inspired by the arrival of my friends beautiful baby boy and a photo frame I've made for her. If like me you love making and giving gifts with a personalised touch our Photo Frame Kit is the ideal base to create perfectly framed memories that you can coordinate with your favourite 12 x 12 papers and cardstock too.
There's a bunch of options with this kit to make two portrait and landscape style single frames or one double portrait or landscape style frame. I was on a roll after making my baby frame and made a couple of double frames using different techniques.
Double Photo Frame with taped frames - I used our Signature Black Construction Tape to edge the frames and then decorated them in paper strips with mitred corners. This technique uses less paper than the convention wrapped frame. You may recognise my little pirates - Oli ands Harry wearing the hats and parrots they made at a Pirate themed morning with Auntie Annie at the National Maritime Museum, Falmouth.
Double Photo Frame with wrapped frames - I used Blossom Pink cardstock to cover the frames and then paper strips to decorate the right hand one.
Double Photo Frame with floral frames - I joined the frames landscape style, covered the backing boards in black card and then used a floral paper to cover the frames for a vintage look that tones with the black and white photo's of Mum, her sisters and her Mum and Dad.
I've also put together the video below that takes you through how to make the Photo frames featured above too.
If you love the picture frames and would like to make your own the Double Photo Frame kits, a bundle of two Double Frame Kits and one roll of 5m x 25mm Signature Black Construction Tape and 12 x 12 Paper Pads are all available on the website. Links to all available products below:
I hope you've enjoyed todays post. Thanks for calling by and happy crafting if you have some planned over the weekend :-) C
