Once upon a Springtime.....................

Morning crafters, or is it afternoon.  I've had a day or two off after our fabulously crafty weekend, picked up my new car yesterday and have been enjoying tootling around catching up on errands that had to go on hold last week. It's back to the day job today, there's paper everywhere lol!!! and lots of creativity going on that I'll share with you soon.     It's all about Springtime over on the  Graphic  45 blog  today.   Annette and I are sharing two of our Once Upon a Springtime projects so I'm going to head over myself and take a look.  What a delightful collection this is.  I started crafting after it was released the first time round and don't think I'd made any projects with the papers up to now, so making the shadow box was all the more fun.  The adorable characters were crying out to be lifted from the papers and made into a scene, something I love doing with Graphic 45 papers. Most of the characters came from the signature sheet and one or tw

Where did that weekend go.......

......... where did that weekend go.  Months in the planning, weeks in the prepping and two days of fabulous company and crafting has just flown by.  Here we all are with (well nearly all of us) with our Time to Flourish Seasons in Time Album sets.  We constructed, painted, stuck, snipped and inked our way through the weekend, used oodles of gorgeous Graphic 45 papers and had a ball. We each chose our birthday month for the papers on our stands so they all looked different.  Ladies it was lovely to see you, thank you for joining me and enjoy adding all your photos to your albums.  Hillary thank you for my swish pink apron and Sylvia thank you for the two gorgeous shops you'd made. Here's a few pics taken over the two days.  If you'd like to make the album set yourself, the video led on line workshop and project sheet are both available from today on our webiste along with the Folio Album stand kit designed to hold any four of my folio albums. We

It's really lovely to be all working together. I thought I d share our New This N That box with you.  Altered in papers from the Artisan Style collection by Graphic 45 its a really handy box for stuff lol!!!  I've added the new claw feet to the box, don't they look fab.  Kits will be available in the 'Alter Me' section of our website from the end of February and we're making it at two workshops coming up at Crafting Times on 10th May, and Scotch Lodge Farm on Friday 10th April (this one will be altered in Once Upon A Springtime Papers). Click here  info on the workshops .   We all enjoyed the last day of the Jones Crafts make and takes and the Candy Box Crafts classroom sessions at the s

ABC Primer is back

I'm so pleased that G45 have re released their ABC Primer collection.  With the addition of the new blue check and paisley papers, cut a parts, stickers and chipboards the deluxe collection contains everything you need to make that special project or keepsake with a schoolroom theme.  Of course the B sides of the papers can make some really elegant projects that don't link to the theme of the collection to.  Today Graphic 45 are sharing two ABC Primer projects by Jim the lovely Gentleman Crafter and myself.  Here's the link to  head over and more of our projects.  www.g45papers.typepad.com   I themed my project around an old style slide lid pencil case, but made it wide enough to hold a mini pocket album too.  On its own the pencil case can hold loads of pens but adding the album turns the project into a one day workshop that covers chipboard construction and album making techniques as well as paper crafting.   The Pencil Case and Album Cover kit will be available on
