My Altered Advent Calendar

Morning every one.  It's dull and damp here but I know lots of you have had awful rain and winds.  Hope you're all safe and warm and have had a lovely couple of days celebrating Christmas with family and friends.   After a lengthy conversation with the hotel we ate at on Christmas Day we've had a full refund sent back to us and have a complimentary meal with no holes barred (the champagne and wine we should have had on 25th) to look forward to in the New Year.  Before then I'm heading down to Cornwall to spend a few days, and New Year with my Sister by the sea which will be lovely. The boys are off to London to see the fireworks by the Eye which will be fab.  Our project today is one of my Calendar Kits.  Altered in stamped and fussy cut elements from some of Jo's (JOFY)  older Christmas stamps and coloured with distress inks painted on with a little water.  It was great fun to make.  Kits are available over on the website if you fancy making your own

SALE 25% off shop items 3 for 2 on all On line workshops and project sheets  Morning everyone, I hope you had a wonderfully Festive Day yesterday with family and friends.  We were looking forward to Christmas Dinner at a fabulous local hotel but ventured into something that resembled Faulty Towers  complete with two aged Spanish waiters trying to serve 120 people.  After an hour and a half we sent back our main course and asked them to  start again and serve us something that warranted the £275 we'd paid.  Our menu was pre-booked but when we eventually got to our sweets, some 3 1/2 hours after arriving they didn't have enough left. Quelle surprise............ Can laugh about it now but it was absolutely appalling. I'm cooking again tonight ..... it really won't be hard to top the hotel cuisine we had yesterday lol!  Its the duck race here today - so well have a quacking good time in the park    and It's sale day over on the website today so if you f
