A day at the Races and a 'How to Make' our pocket picture book

Afternoon everyone, how's your Sunday going.  I've just finished unpacking the car after a great day at the Newbury Papercraft Show yesterday.  We got off to a wobbly start as the sat nav took us to the wrong entrance - well maybe it way me driving the wrong way!!! but once we'd found our way to the Berkshire Stand we were on a roll.  Sarah and Cathy did an absolutely fabulous job of manning the stall and moving it in and out of the venue, thank you sooooooo much both for all your help and support xxx.  What a great show, we had a brilliant day and loved seeing everyone who called by the stand.  Thank you to everyone who shopped with us and joined in the Safari themed make and take sessions (see below for what we made and how to make it).   Here's a few pics taken during the day.

We'll be at the next Newbury Papercraft Show on 8th July 2017 - hope to see you there.  The 'Make and Take' was a simple pocket picture book;  If you fancy making one yourself here&#…

Pretty in Pink ..........

Helllooooooo from a dull and damp UK, how are you?  While I was down in Cornwall, which seems an age ago now, we had a very late Christmas get together with friends Peggy and Sarah and swapped our Secret Santa gifts.  Peggy, is one special lady with the most fascinating life story. Back in the 1940's she, along with thousands of other children were evacuated out of the East End of London.  Peggy and her sister found themselves on a train to Cornwall, and the morning after arriving in Cadgwith Cove, truly thought they had 'died and gone to heaven' to quote her own words, as they looked out from the house at the cove and the sea (below).......  I can totally believe that.
Amazingly, Peggy lives in the house she arrived at all those years ago with her family.  I could listen to her stories for hours, love her company and wanted to make her something special ................in pink (her favourite colour) that she could enjoy during the year so decided on one of my planners.…
