Petallo and Xyron Blog Hop Week

Hi peeps
If you've visited the G45 blog this week you'll know we have a fall themed blog hop running. We all received some of the fabulous products from  Petallo and Xyron in our last DT boxes and have been beavering away on Fall themed home decor projects using flowers, adhesives and Graphic 45 papers.  Click the links above to go over to Petallo and Xron web sites and then just click the blog link to see the projects that have been showcased so far this week.  There's one more day of crafty creativeness tomorrow too.

My project is an altered MDF chocolate basket from Pink Tulip Creations decorated with papers from Happy Hauntings collection (2012 release) by Graphic 45.  The flowers are from the Darjeeling collection and these and the leaves are all by Petallo.  The project is held together with Xyron adhesives although you can't see them they are doing a great job holing everything together. There are more pics and supply list for my chocolate basket over on the blo…

Getting crafty with Graphic 45 at Mullion

I just wanted to share some pics from the fabulous Graphic 45 crafters workshop we all had with the lovely Margaret at Scrapbook Magic in Mullion this week.  It was really great to meet up with all the ladies who came along and thank you all for making the day loads of fun fun and a huge success.   Huge thanks to Margaret for arranging it all too.
Amazingly we did manage to get some crafting in around the amazing refreshments Margaret had laid on for us all from the cafe at Mullion Meadows.  Cakes to die for just kept arriving through the door to tempt us away from our fussy cutting, but we battled through temptation (well not all of us!! ) and did get our Steampunk Spells Zig Zag albums made.  Here's some pics of every one crafting away at the most southerly Graphic 45 workshop held in the UK.

and this is a flat version of the Zig Zag album we made: If you're a crafter and down in Cornwall on your hols a visit to Scrapbook Magic is definitely a must.  Wonderful shop Margaret :…

September in it to Win it Giveaway and goodies from G45 across the pond

Hi every one
The weekends upon us again and I think winter is too.  Its gone sooooo cold here in the UK.  I was hoping for an indian summer or at least a half decent September but it doesn't look like that's happening this week!!.

Thank you to all of you who left a comment on the September Giveaway blog post.  I crunched all the names into Random Name Picker.com and we've got our first winner on Friday 13th!!!  Congratulations Vittoria.  If you could mail your address over to me at mycreativespirituk@gmail.com I'll get your gift in the post to you.

Talking about gifts in the post my DT Box of Graphic 45 goodies arrived on the doorstep this morning.  Hats off to the lady postman who carried it from the van. It weighed a tonne, must be all that g45 goodness Kelly packed in along with all the products.  Thank you Kelly. Here's a quick vid I did as I was unpacking it.  Huge thanks to Diane and Charee for your amazing generosity.  It really is much appreciated.

Wow!!

Back to school again...........

I'm not sure where the last year has gone but here we are in September again, another school year and chilly mornings to look forward too.

A while ago we (the G45 DT members) were tasked with making a back to school project for the blog.  If you've been following along you'll have seen some amazing projects and lots of upcycling ideas.  I decided to get creative with some off cuts of chipboard and the bright and cheery Mother Goose papers.     I wasn't quite sure what would come out of the pile of bits and pieces on the table when I started but was really pleased with this practical pencil case.  I kept is minimal so it could be dropped into a school bag and carried around quite easily. To see more projects and for details on how to make my pencil case click the link here to the Graphic 45 blog.

There's one day left to leave a comment on the "In it to win it" blog post.  just click the link below, leave a few words and you cold win the following giveaway…

Surprise Surprise

I was late picking up my copy of this months Craft Stamper magasine, and as I was flicking through the pages I came across one of the cards I made for the IndigoBlu Christmas launch on Create and Craft back in June.  I was really surprised, had no idea it was in there, abeit in the advert on page 27 and am wondering if the cheque's in the post Alfie lol!!!!  The full sized image is above.

Anyway, I thought I'd share a few of the other cards I made for the show with you too while I'm blogging.

Heres the link to a few of the cards above and products used on the Create and Craft TV web site Create and Craft
Happy crafting everyone and enjoy your Sunday :-)

Time for Fun with Altered Clocks

Hi every one and happy Friday to you all

If you're this side of the pond you may recognise the clock above.  It's one of Robs fabulous MDF blanks that I decorated with the new Mother Goose paper collection by Graphic 45.  I love the bright colours in this colleciton and the images throughout the paper have a truly vintage feel to them.  I used 12 x 12 papers for this project and the inside of a matchbook book for the extra detail on the lid.

Theres more info on my project and another fabulous altered clock by my teamie Nicola Battiliana made using the 12 days of Christmas collection over on the G45 blog today. Just click the link here to go over and take a look.
