Hi everyone, Happy Friday to you.  It looks like we're in for a hot and sunny weekend here in the UK (finally), and here I am talking about Christmas lol!!  The Joy to the World collection by Graphic 45 arrived this week and is now in stock on the website so I thought I'd alter our Flip Front Case and Album set in products from the range to share with you so you can see the variety of colour-ways threaded through the gorgeous papers and embellishments. The kit comes flat packed with an assembly guide, and includes the album covers and spine too.  Measuring just over 6 1/4" wide x 3" deep when assembled it's a perfect project to alter in 8 x 8 and 12 x 12 papers and makes a great starter project if you're new to crafting too. The album cover and page layouts below show how well the colours work together  to give a variety of different looks.  It really is a beautiful collection for this years Festive projects.  ...

Evening my crafty friends, it's gawn right chilly here and just when I'm heading down to Cornwall for a few days with my little sis and a class on Sunday the weatherman has forecast snow.  I've taken Annie's advice packed Rug, shovel, old carpet, large bottle of water, something to eat, sleeping bag a torch etc etc ............ and with all the boxes of kits and my luggage there's no room left in the car for me lol!  OJ ing ........!  I'm really looking forward to Sundays class .  We're making fabric painted, hand stitched journals similar to the ones above that I made last year.  Don't forget to bring your aprons ladies, it could get messy :-)  Here's a few more pics:   The feature images on both books are from stamp plates by PaperArtsy, and hand painted on tissue paper.
