November 30th !!! Where has the year gone

Evening everyone, I hope I find you well.  Its been a really miserable few days, rain and wind making it feel like winter is on its way.  Late this year for us so mustn't complain :-)
I was out and about at the weekend with the crafty ladies at Daisy s Jewels and Crafts.  We had a really lovely Graphic 45 workshop altering small boxes and making little albums to go in them.  Thank you Wendy for inviting me along and ladies huge thanks for joining me.  Here's a few pics.

Whats New:
This seasons Christmas album is now available in on line workshop and project sheet format.  Heres the link to the video for the album if you'd like to see it all the way through.

Our lantern kit is now available on line too.  It makes a lovely Christmas centre piece or decoration for you mantle and can be decorated with real or hand made festive flowers or garlands.
Apparently the Christmas Carol 8 x 8 and 6 x 6 pads have been discontinued.  We have a few 6 x 6 ones left from the retreat if you&#…

A crafty retreat at the Holiday Inn, Kenilworth

Morning my lovelies, hope you had a lovely weekend.  We certainly did, laughing and crafting our way through three days, two evenings and countless shift changes at our crafty retreat at the Holiday Inn, Kenilworth.  Ladies thank you so much for coming along,  loved your company and your projects all looked stunning. Our lovely friend Lin was with us in spirit too.  Thank you too to all the staff at the Holiday Inn who looked after us too.  Fabulous food, hospitality, company and great crafting.
It was altered art day on Friday.  We made Christmas themed gift boxes, perfect for petit fours, marzipan fruits, hose round choices wrapped in gold paper and taller gifts in the large one.
Our large two day project was a Christmas Carol album/memory book altered again in the Christmas Carol papers, this years Christmas release from Graphic 45.

A crafty day down on the farm

I'd like to send thoughts and prayers to all who suffered in the atrocities in Paris on Friday night.  Such a beautiful city. Words can't describe how the families of those who lost their lives must be feeling right now.  It really makes you wonder whats coming next.
Our class was great fun yesterday.  Ladies thanks for joining me, huge thanks to Isobel at Scotch Lodge Farm for arranging the dates and class and Patsie for keeping us fed and watered throughout the day.  Organisers and File folders all made up and almost decorated.  There was lots to cram into our day before Bev, who'd joined us all the way from Australia heads home on Tuesday.  Here's a few pics. Love Julies project altered in 'Twas the Night Before Christmas' papers.
The Event Organiser kit, and various combinations of the project sheet to alter the kit or to just make the albums are available over on our website along with the Lantern Kit that I know lots of you have been asking about.  Links …

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Hello there, have you got that Friday feeling :-)  I've been working away and listening to the radio today. Can you believe there are only 41 shopping days left until Christmas.   We have an 18th (Harry Baby's) and Ols' 23 to fit in before I can get into Christmas mode.  Have got a few pressies stashed away in secret places though.  Lets hope I can remember where when i go to find them lol!!   We had a real fun workshop at Stoneleigh last weekend.  Ladies, thank you for joining me for a Christmas themed crafty day.  Was lovely to see you and your projects were fabulous.  Here's a few pics.  Sally even posed for a 'Mrs O' impression as she bought in the tea tray.

Saturday night I headed over to meet up with Di and Toni, Mr & Mrs Tando Creative who were hosting a weekend Trade event a few miles away with the uber talented Andy Skinner and Michelle Webb.  Andy I hope you managed to find a secret space to escape to on Sunday lol!!!  Was great to meet you, Michel…
