A chillaxing Week and a fabulous Graphic 45 Intro..........

Hi everyone, hope you're enjoying your Saturday.  I've had a real lazy morning, well week actually.  After all the excitement of last weekends retreat I've taken a few days off from my trusty scissors and gorgeous G45 papers, had some time with the boys and caught up with jobs around the house that so needed doing.  I bumped into a lovely friend of Mums at the post office and after chatting outside for a while we went for a coffee and chatted for hours. I never seem to have time to do that so really enjoyed catching up.  Auntie Pat, if you're reading this it was so lovely to see you, enjoy your hols and look forward to catching up again when you're home. Tomorrow Jane and I are heading off to the CHA UK Big Event and a day of sitting down and enjoying some workshops with Leandra from Paperartsy, Woodware and Deco Art.  Looking forward to meeting up with everyone who's going along too.  I've been reading all the Design Team intro's over on the Gr

A great weekend retreat Graphic 45 style

Morning everyone, what a great weekend we've just had crafting away Graphic 45 style.  We all gathered at the Holiday Inn, Kenilworth, the home of my retreats, for two and a half days of crafty fun and frolics.  Scissors were flying, and papers were crafted into some fabulous projects by everyone.  Ladies thank you for joining me for our 6th My Creative Spirit Retreat. The event couldn't have happened without help from Isobel at Scotch Lodge Farm, Wendy from Daisy's Jewels and Crafts, Sandra, Darren and John from Jones Crafts and Jane and Karen on Friday and over the weekend.  Thank you all so much.  Our lovely friend Lyn couldn't be with us this time but, Lyn if you get to read this when you're out of hospital we were thinking about you and missed your company.  There were lots of Bureaus being altered in Artisan Style papers, Hillary chose the Precious Memories Album as her project, and with the arrival on Saturday morning of the new Rare Oddities and Gil

Introducing the Craft Maid ...........

Morning everyone, it's a right wet one here but no thunder storms yet, or did I sleep through them lol!!  Its been a funny old week here, I've been doing things I should t be doing and not doing the things I need to be doing for my retreat next weekend, but on a positive I have managed to alter my latest product to be added to my Alter Me' range of craft kits.   After years of crafting in next to no space, papers everywhere, no space for the paper trimmer and hours wasted trying to find stuff I"m sure was just there when i saw it last, I found I wasn't alone when talking to other paper crafters. I've looked at many products on the market but couldn't find one that did everything I wanted, or in the right size so I decided to design my own that tidy's everything up off the table, takes up half the room of one 12 x 12 pad and gives us more space to craft and think ........ and here it is............. introducing 'The Craft Maid' You
