Voyage Beneath the Sea

Evening everyone, it's been a fun old week here, with lots of comings and goings. We've hardly seen Oli since he passed his driving test last week but he's been a real sweetie and run a few errands including picking up his brother from college.  It was lovely to hear the banter as they came home together.  We seem to have a new boy in the house :-)  It's been a while since I've shared a card with you so I thought I'd show case one I've made using the Voyage Beneath the Sea collection by Graphic 45.  The warm oranges and sea greens are lovely to work with and I could almost smell the as the card came together :-)  The size of the card was determined by the two sea horse pictures joined together so its a little larger than the usual 7 x 5 or 6 x 6 cards we make but I loved how it came out.   Here's the supply list and how to make it:  Voyage Beneath the Sea 12 x 12 papers  Ocean Quest  Voyage Beneath the Sea  Deep Blue Dreams Wild Wild W

Morning my crafty friends, I hope I find you well this Thursday morning.  It's been another crafty week here at 'Maison Charville' getting the last of the four projects ready to teach at this weekends Crafters Retreat.  We were on tenter hooks on Monday as Oli left to take his extended driving test.  It's getting on for three years since he lost his driving licence and we all had our fingers and toes crossed that he'd get through and be back on the road by the end of the week. YIPPEE he did, so huge congrats Oli.  You've gone full circle and are now flying again xxxxx  I'm having a small celebration myself.....   have just noticed that my You Tube channel has had over 3 million viewers call by.  Not bad for an oldie lol!!!!!   That you to everyone who's followed my crafty video journey over the past four years.  It's been a while since I altered one of my shadow boxes so inspired by the release of the new PaperArtsy paint colours I got out some

Be Mine Valentine - two 10 minute makes

Harry returned from his ordeal at the dentist and as I mentioned I was planning to pamper him.  Harry had a different idea and thought I'd like to make him a Valentine Card for his girlfriend.  He has been known to get out stamps, inks and pens and being my Arty has made some great cards but not today.    I came up with a couple of 10 minute makes and thought I'd share them with you bubble gum pink and all ........................ The first card (above) has a cut out heart stamped in the centre from EEG03 stamp set, a red border and then the little girl and boy were stamped on a separate heart, and secured in place with a little tacky glue behind the opening. The heart and hat detail were stamped out from Pierrot Plate 4, coloured in with distress pens, stuck in place on the card front and then sprinkled with a hint of red glitter on a little glossy accents.  Love it.........
