Weekend Workshops

Here we are again another week nearly over and the weekend to look forward to.  Hope you've had a great week.  Harry has 'officially' finished college and really doesn't need to go back in other than to collect my pots of 'Flowersoft' that he borrowed to add some flowers to a flower pot he included in his final project. I've got a funny feeling I won't be seeing those again!!!!!! What are they like these boys lol!  Sad day today as we say farewell to my friends Mum who passed away a few days ago. I hope the rain stays away and sun shines through the service.  Tomorrow I'm heading off to Daisy's Jewels and Crafts to run crafty G45 workshop for Wendy.  We're making up my flip front box and album kits and altering them in a whole range of papers.  The sample above, altered in the Safari Adventure papers is an idea for tomorrow but also the project for next Saturday's class at Sirstampalot. I went for the zebra print on the box this t...

ooooooh there's that Tiger again

I'm lovin this stripy guy so much I made an album just for him, well a new binder actually, covered in the new DIY Craft paper from G45.  It's great for covering larger areas or bigger projects and is perfect for bookmaking too.  I went for the butterfly side of the Curiosity Collage and Butterflies roll which works well with the tones in the Safari themed papers. You do get butterflies in the jungle don't you lol!!!   Here's a few pics and a new video of the whole album and how to make your own binder, my style too.  once you've got the basic techniques you can make them any size you like.  this was a screen shot on the I pad - here he comes ................. prowling in the night (I love tigers)  and here's the link to the full album and how to make the binder; I'm just waiting on the delivery of a new video camera - the old one really was on it's last legs but in it's time it's well travelled and has filmed over 900 videos....

Safari Adventure is here ...............

Hello and a very happy Bank Holiday everyone.  I hope you're having a well earned break and enjoying the weather too.  The saga of the laptop continues......I called in to pick it up today to be told it won't be back for another few days.  So I've grabbed a few minutes of time on Oli's to share a quick post with you.  I had no idea how much of my  life and work relies on the apps on my lap top and how lost I would be without it.  I've used the time I can't create any workshops, videos or new projects to alter some boxes for a commission I had and have been stroking and reluctantly sniping into the papers form the Safari Adventure collection.  Have you seen them..........  in true G45 style there are stunning.  The prints are fabulous and the images awesome and there's a new 12 x 12 pad of patterns and solids to work with in this collection too.     I had a pile of off cuts left over so thought I'd put this little shadow box tog...
