Boxing Day By the Sea

After a day of feasting on Christmas Day we took ourselves off to Praa Sands, an amazing beach on the west coast of Cornwall near Penzance. I was looking forward to blowing the cobwebs away with a good walk to the headland (pic below) to try out my new hip. Unfortunately the tide was right in and we couldn't get over the water that runs down from the cliffs without getting wet up to our knees, so we watched the loan surfer catching the huge waves and tried not to get blown off the sea defence. (he's the black dot in centre of photo above).

    Oh Clare, it does look dramatic, that surfer wants his head looking at ha ha, the second piccie looks fantastic, bet it blew more than the cobwebs away ha ha.

    Great pics certainly looks wild I don't think I would have ventured out in that sea! I live right next door in Devon so I know the area fairly well
