Happy Easter

French Country Egg Stand

Hi Every one

I'd like to wish you all a very Happy Easter, thank you for following my blog over the past year or so and to share this pretty egg stand I picked up from Rob (AKA Mr MDF) at the Hobbycraft show a couple of weeks ago. Here's the link to his web site.

I took the blank stand, painted it with red Kaisercraft acrylic paint and then when dry inked all edges with walnut stain distress ink to give the piece an aged look.

Then I took papers from the new 6 x 6 Patterns and Solids pad, the 12 x 12 Montage paper for the sides, the chicken border from the 12 x 12 Bon Apetit paper, a sticker strip and a large chip board piece and transformed it into this really pretty egg stand that's now in my kitchen.

Just for decoration I painted the eggs white and then crackled using the IndigoBlu crackle glaze stamp.

Have a great weekend and enjoy the celebrations :-) C

  7. Morning Clare, WOW, this is stunning, stunning, stunning, these papers were meant for this project, so uplifting, I love it, but then again I love everything you do ha ha.
Have a lovely Easter, I was at Church Services for most of the day yesterday, I'm exhausted this week, after all the preparations and services at Church this week, but yesterday seeing the Church in all it's splendour, was well worth all the cleaning involved, it looked magnificent.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
