Meandering and Junk Journalling

Hope you've got back into the swing of things after all the festivities and are enjoying your weekend.
I've been messing about with the new collections by Marion Smith, now in at Jones Crafts Wholesalers and retailers here in the UK,  and have two new book designs to share with you.  The first is a Meander Album made with Mad Tea Party papers by Marion Smith.  These papers are truly adorable and were lovely to work with.  I used one of each of the papers in the collection for the main pages and then matched up some 6 x 6 G45 Secret Garden solids for the tags and photo mats.  They all worked really well together.  To see the whole album just click the video link below.
.

If you' like to make the album its available as an on line workshop.  Click here to go over to our blogshop

My second book is more of a Junque Journal, albeit a very pretty one, and was made from a few pieces of kraft card and an eclectic mix of Nirvana and Garment District papers. Click below to see the journal in full

Both books are January Jones Crafts Design team projects. Catch up with them on their Facebook page by clicking here.

Well that's all from me for today. Off to cook the lunch so thanks for calling by, enjoy the rest of your Sunday,  and look forward to catching up with you again shortly :-) C

July Giveaway and crafty Weekend in Milford Haven

Morning everyone, Happy Monday to you.  I"m home after a fabulous weekend with Cheryl, Jan and Chris, at their fabulous shop, In House Interiors in Milford Haven.  It was a full house on Friday for our Artisan Style workshop where we constructed, painted and altered pencil cases and albums.  Saturday was demo day and another full house.  Cheryl, Jan & Chris, thank you so much for hosting the event for all your hard work and your hospitality, you really did spoiled me :-)  It's been quite a while since I've travelled over the border to Wales so I was quit excited as I passed the Welcome to Wales sign and then Raglan Castle. For those of you unfamiliar with our isle, Wales is full of magnificent Castles, sandy beaches, picturesque scenery and a gorgeous coastline.  I had to have a quick pit stop to see Raglan Castle. Saw my first Dragon too :-)   After a journey that took me across the middle of the country and th...
