A fun day with Clare Rowlands

Molly Blooms Card
I hope you're enjoying your Bank Holiday weekend and if you've been out and about managed to avoid getting stuck in traffic jams.
My treat for the weekend was to drive over to SirStampalot yesterday in Peterborough to do a Clare Rowlands workshop (Molly Blooms).  What a fun day we had, Clare is lovely and sooooo amazingly talented.   We made two really gorgeous projects during the day and Clare introduced me to the totally amazing shrink plastic.  Can you believe I've never used it before.  Now I'm totally addicted.  Must say hi to Julie too, we sat next to each other and swapped papers and shared supplies.
Inspired after my day out I made the card above this eve and added two blue birds and a rabbit (suitably shrunk in plastic).

We're off out for dinner so I need to shoot off.   If you're off tomorrow have a fun time, thanks for calling by and catch up again soon :-)

  1. Evening Clare, I'm so glad you had a good time at your workshop, shrink plastic is brilliant isn't it, I love it too. Your card that you made last night is brilliant, fabulous images and gorgeous 'shrinkies'.
I hope you are enjoying your dinner this evening. We have had torrential rain here for most of today, and we have been driving up and down the motorway looking at used cars, to no avail either, and at one stage we couldn't see through the car window because of the torrents of rain, it was sooooo scary. To top it all, we are both ill at present, hubby has passed on his bad cold and cough, so the day didn't go well haha.
Lets hope we have a bit of sunshine tomorrow.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

  3. Hi Clare, Back in the land of the living after my op but can only see using a large magnifying glass but even so your card looks so pretty. Glad you enjoyed your workshop ; it makes a change to be sitting on the other side of the table, doesn't it. Like you, i haven't used shrink plastic but have watched various demos and really must give it a go when i eventually get back to crafting. Enjoy the rest of the Bank holiday; at least the weather here is better today as the sun is shining but for how long we don't know. Hope your cold's better Patricia. Hugs Pauline A x

For those of you unfamiliar with our isle, Wales is full of magnificent Castles, sandy beaches, picturesque scenery and a gorgeous coastline.  I had to have a quick pit stop to see Raglan Castle. Saw my first Dragon too :-)   After a journey that took me across the middle of the country and th...
