Crafting in Miniature

Altered Miniature Piano - A Candy Box Crafts Product
I hope you're having a good week.  It's flying here, I've been designing and making a new project for Graphic 45, cut into a few more sheets of An Eerie Tale papers and writing the instructions for the two projects we're making at my retreat next weekend.  We're one day away from the last GCSE exam,  which Harry tells me have all gone well and his last day at school.  I think I'll be having to find him some little jobs next week.  Oli's been working on the web site too which is giving me more time to cut up paper an stick it together lol!

I thought I'd share this new product with you from Candy Box Crafts.  Its the cutest little piano to decorate and fill with whatever you fancy.  Roy, Mr Candy Box himself decorated this one in papers from the Bird Song collection by Graphic 45 and I made the flower arrangement to sit under the lid using the Sizzix Susan's Garden Rose Die (658411) and Cheery Lee Designs Branches (B466)

Undecorated it looks like the is (above) and is available now in our shop along with lots more fabulous Candy Box Crafts products to tempt you.  Heres the link

  7. This piano is gorgeous and just the thing to make for my sister's 60th birthday in December ( I might just get it finished if I start soon) She plays the piano and this would look lovely stood on top of hers. I play a little bit but it always sounds as if I have boxing gloves on or so I am informed!! Aren't some people unappreciative Clare? Lovely and hot here today but I've spent most of my time in the kitchen;cooking but it's time to relax now with a glass of red. Enjoy your weekend. Hugs Pauline A xx

July Giveaway and crafty Weekend in Milford Haven

Morning everyone, Happy Monday to you.  I"m home after a fabulous weekend with Cheryl, Jan and Chris, at their fabulous shop, In House Interiors in Milford Haven.  It was a full house on Friday for our Artisan Style workshop where we constructed, painted and altered pencil cases and albums.  Saturday was demo day and another full house.  Cheryl, Jan & Chris, thank you so much for hosting the event for all your hard work and your hospitality, you really did spoiled me :-)  It's been quite a while since I've travelled over the border to Wales so I was quit excited as I passed the Welcome to Wales sign and then Raglan Castle. For those of you unfamiliar with our isle, Wales is full of magnificent Castles, sandy beaches, picturesque scenery and a gorgeous coastline.  I had to have a quick pit stop to see Raglan Castle. Saw my first Dragon too :-)   After a journey that took me across the middle of the country and th...
