Having fun with G45 Cor'Dinations and flower dies

Have you been enjoying the sunshine today after all the storms we had  over the weekend.
Loved the craft show in Doncaster yesterday.  Caught up with lots of crafters and Hazel who won the tickets, Paula & Gary from WhichCraftUK, Jo on the Clarity stand doing some fab demos and Mark on the PaperArtsy stand, and did a bit of shopping too.
I've got just a little addicted to the Sizzix Susans Garden flower dies and my collection of two sets grew over the weekend to quite a few more !!  oops, not sure how that happened :-)  I've been trying out the Catalaya orchid set today.  Out came the pan pastels, copic markers, G45 card stock in the yellow which goes perfectly with the new Eerie Tale papers  and my tool kit.  these were my first attempts.  How relaxing, making flowers in the sunshine.  I need about 15 for a project I've started along with a whole load of other flowers so no resting on my laurels its off to make more :-)
Offer of the Week
Just before I tootle off to make some more flowers and tea for the boysky's I thought I'd share our offer of the week with you.  Its 25% off all Steampunk Spells papers and embellishments.  Offer ends Friday 13th

Enjoy your eve, thanks for calling by and catch up again soon :-) C

  3. Glad you had a great time at the show. I always believe that things 'fall' into my basket whenever I have to push past someone and it just catches the stand!! Thankfully I always manage to want the dies/stamps/papers etc.that fall in. Your orchid flowers look fabulous and such a change from my roses which i churn out with great regularity. I'm trying to make a small birthday album for my better half using the By the Sea papers and including some photos of places we have visited both at home and abroad but as it's the day after Father's Day, I'll have to get a move on . Enjoy your crafting. Love Pauline A x

  4. Morning Clare, So glad you had a good time at Doncaster, I had to chuckle at your write-up about your 'additions' to your collection haha !! I love your orchids, they are so realistic, I am a lover of orchids, I have two lovely orchid plants, and one that is 'not too well' but I'm keeping it to see if it recovers. I make flowers for the majority of my cards, and I absolutely love how you can take a simple piece of card and shape it into a very pretty 'work of Art', it always fascinates me. I have never seen these orchids before, but they are stunning !!
    Enjoy your day.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

    1. Morning Patricia, or is it nearly afternoon. the days whizzing past too fast again. I hope poorly orchid plant pulls through, they really are beautiful flowers. Since the show I noticed that they have a bit of a sale going on with the flower dies at Sizzix, too good to miss so more flower dies are on their way. Very naughty but now I have the dies for all the flowers I love to make in paper as well as all the cutters for sugar paste ones too. I've had a word with myself and am not to buy anymore. :-) Well certainly not this week anyway. You're right though they really do shape a project into a pretty work of art. Enjoy the rest of your day and look forward to catching up again soon xx

  7. Good evening Clare, The flowers are just beautiful and look so realistic. I'm afraid I'm a little lazy when it comes to flowers on projects/cards, I tend to purchase mine. That's not to say that I won't give it a go some time in the future. I mean.... you never know! So glad Doncaster went well and that fun was had by all. Thanks for sharing this today and I hope you enjoy the rest of your evening. Take care

  8. Beautiful flowers.
I have never used copic markers, in the past I have used watercolour paints. How easy are copics to use? Are they worth investing in? Also which ink pad would you recommend using with then when colouring stamped images?
    Thanks
    Sarah
