Sending you thanks with flowers

Hello there and a very happy Thursday to you.  I'd like to start off my post by sending a huge thank you to everyone who left comments on my intro post over on the G45 blog and Fb on Tuesday.  I was really touched as I read through all the comments, and to answer few shout outs we are looking at my going to the US next year to run a series of workshops.  I'll post more about when and where as plans develop.  How exciting, its something I've been wanting to do for ages.

 My little vase of flowers well not so little, it stands about 20" tall, went down a storm so I thought I'd share how to make the stemmed roses with you and have had a great morning making the video.  Heres a quick list of what you need  and the link to the video too. 

Sizzix -- Susans Garden toolkit 658437
Sizzix - Flower, Rose 658411
Sizzix  - Flower,3D & Vine 658064
8" white lollipop sticks 
Florist tape - moss green 
Designer paper - I used 'Fabulous' from the G45 Couture collection
green card stock 
Florist wires 
Hot glue gun 
Distress ink and applicator

    Clare - if you are really coming to the state please come to San Diego. Well it doesn't really matter - come to California and I will find you! I love your designs - just finished Mother Goose - and am geared up to do the Marion Smith "Alice" paper - Beth in San Diego ~

    Morning Clare, I love, love, love, this project, I would love to make one of these, they look stunning. I'm off to watch your video later. I am walking with my Church this morning, it is Walking Day for all the Churches in my area, and it is not looking good 'weatherwise', I think a brolly will be required !!!!!
    All the peeps in the USA will be in for a fabulous workshop when you 'work your magic' for them.

July Giveaway and crafty Weekend in Milford Haven

Morning everyone, Happy Monday to you.  I"m home after a fabulous weekend with Cheryl, Jan and Chris, at their fabulous shop, In House Interiors in Milford Haven.  It was a full house on Friday for our Artisan Style workshop where we constructed, painted and altered pencil cases and albums.  Saturday was demo day and another full house.  Cheryl, Jan & Chris, thank you so much for hosting the event for all your hard work and your hospitality, you really did spoiled me :-)  It's been quite a while since I've travelled over the border to Wales so I was quit excited as I passed the Welcome to Wales sign and then Raglan Castle. For those of you unfamiliar with our isle, Wales is full of magnificent Castles, sandy beaches, picturesque scenery and a gorgeous coastline.  I had to have a quick pit stop to see Raglan Castle.
