A Fab Day in Yorkshire

It was an early start yesterday morn and a quick nip up the M1 to the Holiday Inn, Rotherham yesterday to get set up and ready for our G45 Come Away with Us workshop and the arrival of the lovely ladies who came along to join us. We had gents too for about 10 minutes, but sadly we couldn't encourage them to stay and craft with us with us. Our project for the day was a Come Away with Me Folio Album made from an 8 x 8 paper pad,  and the new Ephemera and Journalling cards that go with the collection. Here's a few pics of everyone and our project;
We were all impressed with the hotel and I'll definitely be booking another one day Christmas workshop date with them before the end of the year.  I'll drop the details on the on the events page of the blog shortly.

Well that's all from me for this moor, I'm off to run the munchkins about, so have to dash.  Enjoy your day and call back tomorrow for details of our August Giveaway :-) C

    1. Hi Margaret, It was lovely to finally meet up yesterday. So pleased you enjoyed yourself. I'm not sure what time we got home but it the run back down the M1, once we'd got through the roadworks was quite quick. I know we was home in time to watch the start of the Commonwealth Games closing ceremony but fast asleep before Kylie came on stage :-) I'm looking less like a hamster today too which is a relief. We've booked a new date on 30th Nov with the hotel and put details on the blog. Maybe we'll meet up again before Christmas which would be lovely. Anyway take care and catch up again soon xx

  3. Oh Clare, looks like these ladies and gentlemen were having lots of fun!!! The lady above mentioned you had a tooth problem, hope it did not cause you too much distress, I can certainly relate to that as you know. Love your little Come Away With Me album, I want to know how you get such a straight line when you are cutting the slit and then using the hole punch at either end!! I have tried using a ruler but it always seems to move, not sure if I am doing it right. Anyway thanks for sharing the lovely pictures, talk to you soon.

    1. Hello Judy, would you believe I had a really odd toothache on Friday and on Saturday my face started to swell up. Yesterday it was awful, and I'm sure I scared the ladies who came along to the workshop. It didn't stop us having a great time though :-) I'll do you a little video on how to cut the slits in the paper this week and send you the link. Huge hugs and hope your toothy pegs are doing OK :-) xx

July Giveaway and crafty Weekend in Milford Haven

Morning everyone, Happy Monday to you.  I"m home after a fabulous weekend with Cheryl, Jan and Chris, at their fabulous shop, In House Interiors in Milford Haven.  It was a full house on Friday for our Artisan Style workshop where we constructed, painted and altered pencil cases and albums.  Saturday was demo day and another full house.  Cheryl, Jan & Chris, thank you so much for hosting the event for all your hard work and your hospitality, you really did spoiled me :-)  It's been quite a while since I've travelled over the border to Wales so I was quit excited as I passed the Welcome to Wales sign and then Raglan Castle. For those of you unfamiliar with our isle, Wales is full of magnificent Castles, sandy beaches, picturesque scenery and a gorgeous coastline.  I had to have a quick pit stop to see Raglan Castle. Saw my first Dragon too :-)   After a journey that took me across the middle of the country and th...
