Happy Friday 13th to you, lucky for some. I'd planned to pick up my new car this morning but had to put it off until 23rd. Not sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing though! I'm not superstitious but who knows what could have happened.
I've been taking time out from the day job over the last couple of weeks and had some fun altering two new Candy Box Craft products that the guys are launching at the Trade Show this weekend in Birmingham. The first (above) is a bathing hut, with a lift off lid and set of steps. After some deliberation I decided to go blue and red for a 4th July feel and used July and September papers from the Time to Flourish Collection for a 4th July feel and co ordinated red and blue solids on the roof and wheels. Love the wheels - how hard were they to cover in paper lol!! Blinds are down so no peeping :-) The MDF is great for all mediums. Would love to see one painted. Here's another couple of pics.
The second new product is a duel purpose frame. Flat on one side for canvas work and shadow box on the other. I'm addicted to shadow boxes as you probably know and used the October Flourish and Cut Apart 12 x 12 papers from the Time to Flourish collection by Graphic 45 to give my sample a Halloween theme - I know it's February.............but I love the thistle on these papers!
Looking forward to seeing them on the Candy Box Crafts Stand on Sunday along with lot's of other lovely projects by the guys and other CBC design team members. Well that all from me this morning so hope your day goes well, thanks for calling by and look forward to catching up with you again over the weekend :-) C
