Just a real quick little post from me this morning. I was totally inspired by Annette Greens Easter basket shared on the G45 blog this week that I decided to make one to put eggs in for Oli s new girlfriend. I made a scaled down version of the basket (5" x 5") from this lovely spotty Beautiful Blooms paper (Secret Garden collection g45) and then made a few daffodils, pansys and violets using the Susan's Garden flower dies and white card stock. Coloured with copic markers they look just like the real thing :-) The grass was cut from a Tim Holtz decorative strip and the bunny was a 25p bargain stamp from Hobbycraft. I've just got to get the eggs out of the car, fill it up and give it to Sophie later on.
If you'd like to make a basket yourself, here's Annette's video
and a few more pics of mine.
Here are the Susan's Garden flower videos if you'd like to know how to make the flowers on the basket too.
