a post from Poldark country ...........

Well hello my crafty friends, its been a while since I blogged ............ we're in Poldark country - Cornwall having a busy busy time come holiday.  We drove down last Friday. OMG - so did everyone else.  it was the day after the GCSE results came out here and the world and his dog were heading for the coast.  After sitting in traffic for hours we pulled off into the services to grab a drink and it took an hour and a half to get back on the motorway again.  Met a lovely couple heading for Salcome as we sat in the queue so Christine from Crafting at the Cottage if you're reading this I hope you're having a great time on your hols too.
Harry and I headed off to the Cornwall Papercraft Show early Saturday.  Great show this year, thank you to all who came along, shopped and joined in all the make and takes on the stands.  It was busy all day and a great time had by all.  Harry was a star, manned our stand single handed until Sarah and Peggy arrived to take over in the afternoon - he knows all the blurb and was chatting away to the customers about Graphic 45 and our kits like he'd been doing it for ages.  Thank you H and Sarah too who was also a star.   Great show Ruth and Wendy. Look forward to the next one on March 19th 2016.
Harry returned up country by train from a very wet Truro on Tuesday and yesterday I travelled up to St Austell for a Graphic 45 workshop with Ruth and all her lovely ladies.

There were 28 of us crafting away making stationery boxes altered with Gilded Lily papers by G45 and olio albums in various collections.  Thank you Ruth for your fabulous hospitality and ladies for coming along and joining me for a wonderfully crafty day.  Look forward to seeing you all again soon, and sooner if you're coming along to Saturdays Bureau workshop at Karens, Total Papercrafts.
We've had days of rain but today the clouds blew out over the sea and it was a hot hot day.  Annie and I headed off to the beach for a chilling afternoon on the sand.  It was lovely.  I really feel like I'm on holiday.
Am hoping it's sunny again tomorrow, we'll be heading for the beach again if it is. Looking forward to Saturdays Graphic 45 class with Karen at Totalpapercrafts, in Bodmin before I head home and prep my final demo's for the Graphic 45 shows on Create and Craft on Tuesday. Have a lovely Friday, thanks for calling by and catch up again soon

Ohhhh while I"m here if you pre ordered the new Graphic 45 collections, they ve arrived in the country, will be shipped to me over the weekend and will be on their way to you on 2nd September :-)
