Countdown to Christmas..... in August

Happy Tuesday everyone, it's a bit of a grey one here but Harry baby and I are looking forward to a week away with Auntie Annie in sunny Cornwall.  We're heading off on Friday and will be at the Cornwall Papercrafting Show at Lanhydrock Hotel and Golf Club with our shop on Saturday 22nd. I'm running Graphic 45 make and takes on the hour from 10.15am so if you're planning on coming along, or down on holiday and in need of a crafty fix, and would like to make one of my little notebook holders see Harry on the stand to book your slot.  We'd love to meet you. I"m also hosting Graphic 45 workshops at Ruths shop in St Ausell, and Karens shop, Total Papercrafts in Bodmin during the week.

I'm really excited to be featuring a Time to Flourish project made for Graphic 45 over on their blog today.  If you're keen to get started with your festive makes here's a great idea for a wall hanging using the gorgeous imagery from G45's calendar collection. I made up my own frame but you could start off with any box base and build up your own unique piece of festive altered art. There's more pics over on the G45 blog, just click the link above to visit.

Here's the full project .... lots of fussy cutting involved but it was fun to do.  I loved how the birds came to life once they 'd been cut out:-)
I'm trying to catch up with the boys washing, pack up kits, the shop .............. you know how it is so I'm going to love you and leave you, thank you for calling by, if you're coming to the show on Saturday looking forward to seeing you and catch up again soon xx :-) C

July Giveaway and crafty Weekend in Milford Haven

Morning everyone, Happy Monday to you.  I"m home after a fabulous weekend with Cheryl, Jan and Chris, at their fabulous shop, In House Interiors in Milford Haven.  It was a full house on Friday for our Artisan Style workshop where we constructed, painted and altered pencil cases and albums.  Saturday was demo day and another full house.  Cheryl, Jan & Chris, thank you so much for hosting the event for all your hard work and your hospitality, you really did spoiled me :-)  It's been quite a while since I've travelled over the border to Wales so I was quit excited as I passed the Welcome to Wales sign and then Raglan Castle. For those of you unfamiliar with our isle, Wales is full of magnificent Castles, sandy beaches, picturesque scenery and a gorgeous coastline.  I had to have a quick pit stop to see Raglan Castle. Saw my first Dragon too :-)   After a journey that took me across the middle of the country and th...
