A crafty day in Skelton, North Yorkshire

Enchanted Forest Pocket Album Clare Charvill Graphic 45
Afternoon everyone,  what a gorgeous day it's been here.  It wasn't quite so nice on Friday night when I headed up the M1 to North Yorkshire and the north east coast of England.  I hate driving in torrential rain these days and get the heebie-geebies trying to get past lorries when all you can see is spray but I made it and arrived just after 11pm. It was freezing cold too.
I headed off to Skelton yesterday to meet up with Julie at her amazing craft workshop. What a great day we had.  Julie thanks so much for your fabulous hospitality and ladies thank you for coming along for the day.
It was blowing a gale outside but we were cosy warm as we crafted our pocket albums into shape. I'd remodelled the one featured on the G45 blog a couple of weeks to work with 8 x 8 and 6 x 6 papers.  Here's some pics from our day;
Loved our day together everyone and am looking forward to returning for our Graphic 45 weekend workshop on 26th/27th November  We're going to be constructing and altering my Event Organiser kits vintage style........ :-)
I had no idea I was so close to the north east coast when I drove into Skelton but as I started my journey home this was the view along the lane.  The rain had blown out to sea, the sun was shining and the sky was bright blue.  I took a tootle along the front at Redcar and watched the waves rolling in before hitting the motorway.  Just gorgeous.
 Hope you've had a lovely weekend too and look forward to catching up again shortly :-) C

  2. Morning Clare, A fantastic post today, all these beautiful creations showcased and the fabulous piccies of the views, and very pleased ladies with their fantastic albums. Fabulous !!
    I've spent the whole weekend, apart from night, at the hospital with my hubby, and this morning he is waiting to find out if they are going to operate, I feel like my world has gone into a 'vortex', I feel like a zombie as haven't been able to sleep properly. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that he doesn't need an op. I'm off back there shortly.
    Take care.
    Lots of love from Patricia xx
