October Giveaway Winner

Happy 1st of the month everyone, can you believe it's only 55 days 'til Christmas!  I thought I'd share another sample from tomorrows shows with you.  I went for an industrial look on this stamp/card storage unit. Once I'd covered it in embossed white card I used shades of green and rusty paints, gold and bronze treasure gold to get a verdigris look and then added some of Andy Skinners industrial elements from Tando to the front section to finish off the overall look.  this unit is great to hold A5 journals or albums too. I made the two in the unit from scratch and both have painted fabric covers. I'm all prepped and ready to head down to the Hochanda Studios in Peterborough tomorrow. So excited to be on with Hannah and Alex and have some gorgeous demos to share with you. Hope you can grab a coffee and join me for an hour or two at 6pm & 9pm:-)

  2. Morning Clare, Well done to Chris !! enjoy your goodies.
I love the rustic look to this storage box, the 'industrial' and 'steampunk' feel is a look that I love, and your colours are gorgeous !!
Wow !! it was nippy last night, my duvet has been on and off recently, but this morning I have added it back on !!
Don't tell me how many days it is until the 'C' word, I'm panicking now hahaha, yesterday at linedancing my friend announced that she has already made 94 cards, I went 'Nooooooooooo' I haven't even thought about it yet haha. Every year I think I will start early, but 'life' gets in the way with me. I have 2 Birthday cards to make yet, just finished a commission for a lady at Church which took me 3 days to make but she was 'over the moon' with the card and box, which delighted me.
I hope you had a good sleep, enjoy your day.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

July Giveaway and crafty Weekend in Milford Haven

Morning everyone, Happy Monday to you.  I"m home after a fabulous weekend with Cheryl, Jan and Chris, at their fabulous shop, In House Interiors in Milford Haven.  It was a full house on Friday for our Artisan Style workshop where we constructed, painted and altered pencil cases and albums.  Saturday was demo day and another full house.  Cheryl, Jan & Chris, thank you so much for hosting the event for all your hard work and your hospitality, you really did spoiled me :-)  It's been quite a while since I've travelled over the border to Wales so I was quit excited as I passed the Welcome to Wales sign and then Raglan Castle. For those of you unfamiliar with our isle, Wales is full of magnificent Castles, sandy beaches, picturesque scenery and a gorgeous coastline.  I had to have a quick pit stop to see Raglan Castle. Saw my first Dragon too :-)   After a journey that took me across the middle of the country and th...
