Journaling in Cornwall

Morning everyone, I had a snow free journey down to Cornwall on Friday but was bombarded by humongous hail stones once I crossed the county line.  Amazing!  It's chilly dull and damp here but the bad weather seems to have blown out to sea so maybe we'll see some sunshine later.
Our workshop yesterday in Bodmin was great fun and enjoyed by all :-)  We painted and stamped fabric, stitched our journal inserts, assembled our books and created fun covers for them before heading home with loads of techniques to use on other projects. Thank you ladies for a great day and enjoy using your journals. I'll be back down in May/June to host a weekend workshop so do keep an eye on the blog and FB page for dates and more info.
Here's a few pics of some of the fabric covers
everyone crafting away - I love the bunting.........
and some of the ladies with their finished journals
Enjoy your Monday everyone, thanks for calling by and I look forward to sharing more crafty inspiration with you shortly.

  1. Hi Clare, first of all Happy New Year to you and all your followers. I haven't been around for a while as I've been bedridden since Boxing Day due to ongoing problems with my immune system. Unfortunately my body also carries the shingles virus and this time around it's been pretty bad. Fortunately I have been able to keep up with your blog thanks to technology and my wonderful tablet and I've loved all your latest projects. Glad to read that your journeys were fairly uneventful and that the class went well. Take care.

    1. Morning Margaret, Happy New year to you too. I'm so sorry to hear you've been unwell again. I know the pain can be so awfully debilitating from that virus. Sending you crafty hugs from a damp, dull and chilly Cornwall. Take care, enjoy browsing on your tablet and hope you're feeling a little better soon :-) Cxx.

July Giveaway and crafty Weekend in Milford Haven

Morning everyone, Happy Monday to you.  I"m home after a fabulous weekend with Cheryl, Jan and Chris, at their fabulous shop, In House Interiors in Milford Haven.  It was a full house on Friday for our Artisan Style workshop where we constructed, painted and altered pencil cases and albums.  Saturday was demo day and another full house.  Cheryl, Jan & Chris, thank you so much for hosting the event for all your hard work and your hospitality, you really did spoiled me :-)  It's been quite a while since I've travelled over the border to Wales so I was quit excited as I passed the Welcome to Wales sign and then Raglan Castle. For those of you unfamiliar with our isle, Wales is full of magnificent Castles, sandy beaches, picturesque scenery and a gorgeous coastline.  I had to have a quick pit stop to see Raglan Castle. Saw my first Dragon too :-)   After a journey that took me across the middle of the country and th...
